Midnight snack

There are nights when snacking feels natural especially if there is an interesting movie or company to pass the time with. On those nights, I would prefer a cup of homemade  juice and stuffed pancakes to any popcorn and soda.

My recipe is easy and should take less than thirty (30) minutes to make three (3) large or seven (7) small pancakes. You'll need a scale, measuring cups and spoons to achieve the texture this recipe gives.

Following the recipe below, combine flour, milk, sugar, salt, maggi, dry pepper, onions and fresh pepper in a large bowl. Whisk the egg lightly into the dry mixture, add the water and oil and stir to mix properly. The correct consistency of this mixture should coat the back of a spoon lightly. Scoop and fry on low heat on a greased skillet until the edges are firm and it looks golden brown.

Seived Flour - 1cup

Powdered Milk - 1/2cup

Granulated White Sugar - 3tbsp

Salt - 1/2tsp

Maggi - 1cube ~ 4g

Dry pepper - 1 tsp

Chopped Onions - 55g

Diced fresh pepper- 10g

Eggs - 2 large ~120g

Water - 1 cup + 2 table spoons (1/8 cup)

Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 1tbsp

You can remove or reduce the ingredients as you desire but it certainly won't be the same pancake as mine. Also, any vegetable oil or melted margarine of your choice is fine.

Goodluck snacking😘
